For most UK companies, doing PR overseas is a headache. You either have to sign up with a genuine global agency, which (for all but the biggest buyers) costs your entire marketing budget for the next five years, or you get into bed with a ‘network’ of consultancies who only meet once a year at the annual get-together and have rarely worked together.
We don’t think either of these models work. So we decided to do something a bit different. We travelled Europe and Asia, meeting with, sourcing and vetting brilliant freelancers or likeminded niche agencies. We maintain close contact with them, feed them valuable work, and ensure they follow our ethos.
